Our Life Together: Wednesday Youth Night
Wednesday nights at Second Congregational United Church of Christ are filled with excitement, faith formation, fellowship,
music, fun, and more. For over 12 years, we have brought together all the forces to offer a varied and ever-expanding menu
of activities and programs on Wednesday nights for the children and youth of our congregation and the children and youth of
our neighborhood—and now even adults, too!

We have many activites for this age group in our Wednesday program. We offer Choir, Handbell Choirs, Bible studies and Children's Church. We begin the eveing at 5pm and end at 7:30pm. Dinner is included in the eveing.

Music Ensembles
A number of our congregation's music ensembles, especially those involving youth, rehearse as part of Wednesday Youth Night.
- Children's Choir - A choral/vocal music ensemble for children in preschool through 5th grade.
- Peanut Bells - A hand-chime ringing group for children aged preschool through 1st grade.
- Angelus Ringers - A hand bell ensemble for children in grades 2 to 5.
- Tower Ringers - A hand bell ensemble for youth in grades 6 to 8.
These are only a part of the overall music ministry here at Second Congregational United Church of Christ. See our Music section to explore more.
Dinner
A highlight of our Wednesday night programming is having a communal dinner, bringing together everyone across age groups,
including adults. A dedicated group of volunteers, headed up by Linda Tolodxi and Katy Paterson, prepare the wide variety of
balanced meals we serve throughout the program year.
